It's called IMTS, which is hort for "Intelligent Multimode Transit System" and is essentially a hybrid vehicle. I just like the styling: it just screams "future" instead of "old broken-down Greyhound." Source: Alihahara News via Gizmodo
I wonder how much noise these busses make compared to traditional diesel fuel engines. I know a few years ago in Washington, DC a major concern over new (smaller) metro busses that would go further into city neighborhoods was the amount of noise they make.
