Google Launches New Weather Search

The gang at Google are at it again with another "beta" launch this week. This time it's weather and what I find funny is the second result after the little maps (see example). The search brings back phone numbers for weather reports. That showed me how much the Internet changed things - I completely forgot that you could actually place a call and hear a weather report. What surprises me more is that you still can.
This move is sure to anger all the weather sites. Like most people I have been "Googling the weather" for years and then clicking over to a weather site. By offering the weather in the results and throwing in phone numbers that bump the other sites even further down the page, Google is snapping up a lot of traffic.
