It's Linky! Innovative New Mozilla/FireFox Plug-In
I saw this on Boing Boing and decided to give it a try. Linky is a free plugin for the Mozilla/FireFox browser family and it allows you to highlight a bunch of links on a page and then open them all up in individual tabs or windows by simply right-clicking.

I was skeptical at first, because I'm a creature of habit and changing how I browse is not something I do lightly, but I went to MyYahoo and saw the links to individual postings on our blog, highlighted the latest postings and fired up Linky. In seconds I had them all individually tabbed so I could read the comments to each posting without clicking. The feature is also really useful if you read articles with multiple pages, or if you are price comparison shopping.

Anyway, enough explanation. Try it yourself. It's free.

Now you need to get an extension called 'unread tabs' It puts the title of the tab in italics until it has been visited. Wonderful if you tend to get interrupted like I do.

I sent the link to the man I take care of - turns out it was a trogen. Thanks for nothing.

Mr. Anonymous, there is no trojan in the link in the article. I downloaded the extension, and have up to date live antivirus. No virus/trojan was detected. You also might want to check the grammar of you posts from now on if you want to be taken seriously.

McAfee Enterprise 7 fully updated doesn't detect any Trojans or anything on it. I think you must have gone to the wrong site somehow.

How do you get the tabs to flip when you are done reading without clicking? That's the add in I want.
