Wal-Mart's Database Now over 460 Terabytes
Here's an interesting number to ponder: "In an article on Wal-Mart's massive data collection, The New York Times noteed that Wal-Mart has 3,600 stores, 100 million customers weekly, and 460 terabytes of customer data stored on the company mainframes." And we thought backing up this website was a pain!
