Well I for one think this isn't such a bad thing. Now I've never cared much for Micro$oft, but I'll take the relatively "standards based" M$ software over some proprietary garbage on most machines like this.
My sister sews and designs for houses for a living, and the garbagy software she currently has to use gives her plenty of trouble. Plus her current model you have to hook up a laptop, which can be a pain. This sounds like a much better alternative.

Sheesh. Wonder if they'll come out with a Linux or Mac version. Or better yet, a sewing machine that you can wave around in the air to tell it what kind of stitch to sew, along the same lines as that ridiculous samsung cell phone. Shouldn't these people be working to end world hunger or for global peace or something?
