If You're Not Playing These Games You're a Dummy
Okay, that's not exactly what the folk over at Wired are saying, but they do suggest that you're missing out on some some good stuff if you've ignored these:

10. Astro Boy: Omega Factor (Sega, Game Boy Advance)
9. Baten Kaitos (Namco, GameCube)
8. Gradius V (Konami, PlayStation 2) (also Neo Contra)
7. Bejeweled 2 (PopCap, PC)
6. Sly 2: Band of Thieves (Sony, PlayStation 2)
5. Phantom Brave (NIS America, PlayStation 2)
4. Technic Beat (Mastiff, PlayStation 2)
3. Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors (Sega, Xbox)
2. Metroid Zero Mission (Nintendo, Game Boy Advance)
1. Katamari Damacy (Namco, PlayStation 2)

But if you want to know why, you'll have to read the story.

Then I guess I'm missing out for I play none of these games. Games that come with tools to create your own levels seem more fun to me.

Dummy Number 2. I am not playing any of those. I like long games with lots of thinking. CIV III. Sim City, and of course GTA :: SA. I also like the driving games I guess that is why I like GTA so much.

Not sure I have heard of any of those games at all. Maybe Wired should get back in touch with it readers and start reporting on planet earth. I killed my sub to them months ago cause it was starting to look like FM or GQ for geeks instead of a techno mag that talked about tech. Still it is a good mag just not what I signed up for.

Shoot, I haven't even heard of most of these! Of course, as I approach 40 (gonna be 38 in a few months) these kinds of games are less and less interesting to me.

I'm still riding the nostalgia wave, playing old NES games in emulation, or better yet, arcade games in MAME. They were simpler games but they were every bit as challenging as one might hope. Think I'm gonna go buy an Atari Flashback after work today. 8^)

Whew... I don't feel so bad now. I hadn't heard of ANY of these games...

I dont even one any of thoes consoles... Though I just bought a Dreamcast so I can play NES games on an emulator (just for kicks).

Give me a good roleplaying game anyway :)
