Small things for Small minds
For all of you who have nothing to do (except be at aliceandbill.com to read the blog), and enjoy expressing yourself in new and refreshing ways, check out this flash-based (yeah yeah) tool. Not to spoil the surprise, but it lets you make your own Lego person. (I had to explain that to Bill. He kept mumbling something about “Lincoln Logs.”) There are tons of choices and lots of customizable parts: hands, legs, hair, torso, and hat to name a few. You can even costume your Lego as a superhero (Superman, Batman, Flash are a few of them) or go mermaid style. Its a fun reminder for the younger crowd at this site of our dear childhoods, and one of the best toys ever (I even liked it! --Bill). Besides, if it’s a slow day or you’re bored with Quantum Physics, its something amusing for everyone. Now go make your own, and link to a picture of it in the comments section. I'll post mine as soon as I can get a link. Its a fun way to get to know everyone else and you get to play with toys! (That's what it's all about, right?)

(I don't care what it says below this line, Posted by Cyrus.)

This little tool's pretty cool, and looks to be a bit of fun in the workaday world.

If you really want some Lego love and haven't gone to see their site, you should. My son is a 7-yr old Lego freak! and we spend a lot of time at lego.com. They have some pretty cool games - and all free!

Go Lego!

Hey! Some of us LEGO fans have big minds! Just check out http://brickshelf.com and http://mocpages.com for lots of really sweet Adult Fan of LEGO creations!

But apart from that minor slur... I've loved the flash LEGO person tool since I first found it.

For the past three years I've made custom bag-tags for my kid's backpacks. I'd let the kids make up their own LEGO avatar, then I'd paste it into a document where I'd add their name and some emergency information. Print it up and laminate it and *POOF* instant tag :-)
