Slashdot Rocks!
We just want to thank our pals at Slashdot.org for writing a nice post about the Hard Edge. And we also want to welcome everyone to our new blog. Our goal is simple: We are independent, we answer to no one, and have a lot to say about technology, so welcome! Alice and Bill. Wow. I didn't know CS had still been running Hard Edge. I thought it met it's end along with everything that made that mag great.
I can remember driveing my bike to the store to pick up a CS, and the first stop was The Hard Edge. I had to ride my bike, you see, because I was 13. I can remember finding your article for the first time and spending hours going through old issues and reading it. You 2 gave me you cynical view of the computer industry, and it has helped me more times than I can count.
I still remember the funniest thing I ever read. Alice was talking about the greatest achievement in multimedia, and she said it was the cellophane tear strip on CDs.
This site is getting a permanent place in my bookmarks.
