Does ASUS have a SATA problem?
A reader has written in to note that after his fourth 250GB SATA drive died while tied to his ASUS P4C800 motherboard, Maxtor has advised him that there is a problem with the SATA electronics on the board when using 250GB drives and has strongly suggested he acquire a PCI SATA card prior to installing the new drive.
