64-bit Windows
Tired of running two-bit operating systems on your 64-bit capable CPU? Why not try 64-bit Windows? What you're going to find is that this version is much more empowered than previous iterations. Translation: All those motherboard drivers you had to load from a separate disk? Fuggedaboutit. Windows XP64 seems to have all of them already available. You may also find that some of your software won't load correctly --or at all-- unless its from Microsoft. And you really should have at least 1GB of memory.
Of course, this is an evaluation copy that will expire over time --and probably get more friendly, hopefully. Remember, however, it took a gigantic amount of carping and complaining to get Microsoft to modify its idea of how its Windows XP Media Center version should work. Maybe it would be best to download the software and start beating the company up now rather than after the fact...
